Four new competition venues

FOUR new competition venues have been added to the Youth Olympics Games (YOG), replacing five others which have been dropped.
The Games organising committee on Wednesday announced that football - which features at both the YOG and the Asian Youth Games in June - will now be held only at the Jalan Besar stadium.

A new microsite for YOG2010 to engage youths globally.

The SYOG team launched a new microsite (http://www.singapore2010.sg/whyohgee) to engage youths worldwide. Named WhyOhGee, the site contains the latest information about the Youth Olympics Games (YOG), by way of videos, photos and text, some of which are created by students.
