Words have gone round that Badminton for the YOG 2010 will only focus on the single events (Boys and Girls). If this is true, it is a pity that no double events will be staged at the inaugural Youth Olympic Games in 2010. Since 1992, badminton is an Olympic sport with five events: men’s and women’s singles, men’s and women’s doubles, and mixed doubles.
